I previously posted pictures and an explanation about my coupon notebook. I have since come up with a couple more ideas that seem to be working even better for me. To see my original post click here.
Now, I have a trapper keeper instead of a 3 ring binder. I love this because I can zip it up, and it has a handle. This is so helpful with 3 kids in tow! Also, I am able to keep my scissors in there. At the front is an accordian style plastic storage area where I have put all of my store policies for any crabby cashiers I may encounter along the way. At the front is an area that zips up and I put in my envelopes with the coupons that I have pulled for particular stores. I LOVE ORGANIZATION!
I actually divided up my coupons into 2 notebooks now. One for food items and the other for non food items. I may go back to one at some point, but for now, I love my notebooks being light and easier to juggle with kids. This is not as practical as my one huge notebook, but in the store, it sure has made my life easier.
Also, one more tip – - – Make sure you put your name and contact info in your notebook. These notebooks do take some time to put together and we all know that coupons are like money so you definitely want to get it back if you lose it.

This is great… unfortunately for me I **DID** lose my coupon organizer this week…. I searched my house and car for 3 hours and NOTHING… I looked online at my bank account to confirm the last few stores I was in and NO ONE had turned it in :( I had some walgreens bucks in there and oooooodles of really high value coupons that I am absolutely mourning the loss of :(
Oh, I am so sorry. I think I would literally cry if I lost my notebook. I hope that it somehow turns up for you. I have almost left mine so many times, but fortunately the cashier always has handed it to me. Sounds like you tried hard to find it too. I really hope you get it back somehow.
I clicked on the here button to see the old post on how to organizer the notebook, but it gives me an OOPS page. Can you fix this or redo the info at some point that is convenient for you.
Thanks
I fixed the link. Sorry about that, we are still working out the bugs with our move to Word Press. Thanks so much for reading!
I only have 5 premade coupon binders left. (already sold out of the green). Take advantage of the special price as if we nee to re-order new binders the price has gone up a bit :(

HAPPY SAVING!
I love the trapper keeper idea with baseball card sleeves. I’ll be in Staples in the next few days anyway so I’ll have to pick one up.
A trapper keeper would also hold a calculator if you’re inclined to keep track of your total while shopping.
Follow-up to yesterday’s comment: I happened to be in Target last night and checked they’re Trapper-style binders. I found one for $2.65!
Question: How do you organize the coupons inside? Does each coupon get it’s own pocket in the trading card sleeve page?
I’m so glad you were able to find such a great deal! Yes, each coupon gets its own sleeve, unless you have multiples of the same coupon. And if you have to fold the coupon, try and fold it so you can see the expiration date as well as what the coupon is so that you can clean it out easier. Have fun!
I found a great trapper at Walmart on Clearance for $13.00. It has 2 1 1/2″ 3 ring binders in one, zips has pockets for store cards, all kinds of pockets, an id card, handle and best of all a padded strap to carry on your shoulder! It is called CaseIt.

I am so stressed I used coupons starting 2 weeks ago I can’t figure out how to get the binder right and by the time I spent 2 hours shopping all m pizza’s were thawed and I had to go back around the store and start over. Do you seel the kits already together for us newbees?
Dear Coupon Newbie,
Check out the link here for pe-made binders. Rene had posted this before somewhere on her site. Getting organized was the hardest part to me too.

I do have a few left, included is a list of helpful ways (and links) to get organized. Be sure to mention Budget Saving Mom when you check out.
I also have baseball card holder 5 /$1 for anyone who needs more!
What is the address to send the expired coupons overseas? I hate to throw away any coupon someone else could possibly use.
Brenda, here’s a link to Rene’s post that tells all about how to do this – http://budgetsavingmom.com/2009/10/05/back-to-the-ba…xpired-coupons/ – Karen
I am feeling overwhelmed.
Anything that I can do to help Pam? It is overwhelming at first. . . You can do it! And it will save you a lot of money in the end. Just take it one step at a time. (-:
I tried to go to the link of where to send expired coupons overseas and it wasn’t existing.

Is there another link to go to? or where we can send those expired ones to?
I like your idea of the notebook, where can I get one like it?
Many readers have found them at Target. The one that I have I picked up a couple of years ago at Costco. Some people have also found them at Walmart. Hope that helps! Rene
Thanks for the tips. We recently moved so I need to reorganize and get back to saving some serious cash.
Hope all of you have a great week.
