Free Bare Escentuals and Brush at JC Penny

I took my firstborn to the mall to get her makeup done now that she is old enough to start wearing makeup. She was quite excited and it looked so natural. She looked really beautiful, not that I am at all biased. But anyway, you know I am always looking for freebies and guess what I saw! At Sephora, they are offering a 10 day supply of Bare Escentuals Matte Foundation and a baby buki brush. How cool is that! Click here for details. I am really excited about the baby buki brush. Enjoy some budget saving free makeup!

$.20 off your gallons of gas

My hubby went to Sheetz last night and found a great budget saving deal. Sheetz has something called My Card. They gave my hubby one and he brought it home and read the pamphlet. Guess what! Just by signing up for their electronic newsletter, you earn 3500 points. Well, 3500 points equals $.20 off a gallon of gas up to 30 gallons. The discount must be used in full on one vehicle, so make sure your biggest tank is empty when you fill up! You have 6 months to use your points after they are earned. There are other ways to earn points too that are listed on the brochure, but signing up for their newsletter looked like the easiest way to me. On the front of the brochure it does say participating locations in North Carolina and Ohio only, so if you live in those states, you may want to go check it out! Gas costs us so much each month and Sheetz usually already has the lowest price in our area, so a $.20 discount per gallon is a great budget saving deal!

Mersida said, “They’re having this deal with Weis and Sheetz here where I live. If you buy 50$ worth of groceries at Weis then you get 0.20 off each gallon. Not a bad deal for those who shop at Weis often. This offer is in Central PA.” Thanks for the tip Mersida!!

Book Swap

One of my readers e-mailed me a great budget saving site. It is a book swap site. Basically, you get 2 free credits for joining the club after you post 10 books you’re willing to part with. With those credits, you can request a book from someone else. They ask each member to pay media mail shipping to ship their book to someone else, but when you request one, the person you’re getting it from pays the shipping to you. A credit is good for one book. Every time you mail a book to someone, you receive a credit to order a book for yourself. Novel idea! Thanks so much for the tip Heather. Another way I have found to save money on books is through using swagbucks. I can’t believe how many $5 Amazon cards I have gotten just for searching the web. Click here if you are interested about this great program. If you want to sign up, you can click on the banner on the left side of the screen.
