Recently, I’ve been pricing out new bible studies and devotionals, and it’s amazing how expensive they are! I love to read the Bible and study it, and there are certain authors that I really enjoy studying under, but you guys all know that I go into sticker shock over price. You can picture me surfing the internet here and almost hyperventilating as I hit upon a great new study book, and then scroll down to the price and think – WHAT??? – it’s about the Bible! It costs THAT much – I’m too cheap for this!!!!! For this reason, I’ve really enjoyed reading Encouragement Cafe. They offer free daily devotions that are so uplifting. Also they have a weekly podcast and radio show every Saturday from 2:05 to 3pm ET. You can go to their website to listen to the weekly broadcast. Also, you can hear it locally on 830 AM.

This Saturday’s should be so applicable to so many of us. It’s on business versus busyness. As a work at home mom who gardens, homeschools, etc. I have to constantly check my priorities. This Saturday’s show should be a very good reminder about how to gauge whether or not your life is truly filled with proper business or if it is just filled with busyness. I can’t wait to hear it. I’ll post about what I learned on Saturday, and I’d love to hear your comments as well. So, be watching for that post!
