I am excited about adding this new feature to my website! As I explained earlier, I usually just come up with my meals each week. However, I know that a lot of people are interested in weekly menus. I figured what I could do is type up the recipes and take pictures of my meals each week and post them the next week. This way you can get an idea of how I feed my family on so little. I must admit, I forgot to take pictures several nights, but I did type up all of the recipes. I hope that you guys enjoy this!! (Also, one of the meals I made wasn’t that great. I still included it because it was something that we had made this week . . . BUT, I won’t be making it again.)
Here is my weekly menu:
Breakfast:
oatmeal with mixed fruit
Breakfast casserole (This one is SOOOO yummy!!!)
blueberry muffins
Lunch:
leftovers
Dinner:
Beef stew with Irish soda bread
Thai chicken and vegetables with red curry sauce (This was the first time I ever made this. It was definitely not my favorite meal.)
Chicken thai pizza (You can make a whole wheat crust that is so yummy just using the same recipe as the whole wheat bread and rolling it out on a pizza pan.)
Bean and veggie burritos with guacamole
Crockpot Roast with veggies; homemade bread with cinnamon sugar apples on top
Thai chicken and veggies with coconut jasmine rice and smoothies
leftovers
The dinners and lunches cost me about $3 each for a total of $18. For breakfast the oatmeal was free, the fruit in the oatmeal was from my garden and a big bag from Sam’s, the breakfast casserole probably cost me $2, and the blueberry muffins might have cost me $1. So, leaving myself some wiggle room, for things I might have forgotten to add in, I was able to feed my family for less than $25 this week using coupons, my garden and chickens.

Great job. :) I wish I could make homemade bread. I am hoping to learn that skill this year. :)
Have a great week!
I hope that you have a great week too! Thanks! Rene
