Our Good Will Trip Today

My oldest daughter (who is so much taller than me already), has gone through yet another growth spurt. Leaving many of her clothes unwearable once again. I decided to give her $50 to replace what she wanted in her wardrobe. She quickly realized that $50 won’t buy you 2 shirts many places. So, we went to Good Will this morning. We actually had a really GREAT trip there. I don’t know if it is because she is in a size small women’s or what, but there were some really great choices!

I let her pick out everything that she wanted. (I had veto power of course.) She is so excited about her new clothes. She got 6 shirts and 2 belts. She is so skinny, she has to wear belts. Then I got my husband a brand new reversible leather belt for $1!!! I was really excited about that find.

In all we spent $27.65 for 6 shirts and 3 belts. Not too bad for adult clothing. She had so much fun trying it all on. It is amazing. She is becoming this little adult with opinions. She is so much fun to talk to and be around.

So, my budget saving tip: Don’t be shy about checking out Good Will and consignment stores, you might be surprised what you can find!
