5. If you are growing a non-dwarf variety, these plants grow high, and will need support. We have used chicken wire and metal stakes in the past. If you are growing these in a raised bed, they will need to be on an outer edge, so that you are able to provide the support they need.
6. You harvest sugar snaps when the pea is almost as wide as the pod. You want to make sure that you harvest them before the pod is bulging or they will be tough.
