Now that the weather is warming up, and it is beautiful outside, it is also the time of year that you can save lots of money on your electrical bill. Open your windows and enjoy the beautiful natural air-conditioning from outdoors. I love being able to do that this time of year and air out my house. Also, we spend a lot of time outside, so that saves on your light electricity that you use as well. I hope that you are all enjoying the beautiful spring weather!!
More budget saving tips
I LOVE to do this but my allergies have gotten so bad the last couple of years and I can’t do that anymore. The pollen just coats everything!! Enjoy it those that are able to do it!
We are doing this as well. Yes, pollen coat everything so I have to dust and vacuum daily. I have awful allergies and now that I’m pregnant, Claritin makes me have contractions. I’ve discovered that Omega 3 fish oil keeps my allergies at bay. I guess because it’s an anti-inflammatory. It works for me. I’m looking forward to the next electric bill to see how much we’ve saved.

yes, we love our windows open too, as soon as the Yellow Smog (aka pollen) GOES AWAY I cant wait to re-open them and get fresh air back! :)
I’ll have to try the fish oils again and see if that helps with my allergies. My son has horrible allergies as well and we’re not sure about our daughter (7 months). I love the fresh air though :) We do keep our thermostat at 78 though, we have ceiling fans in all the main rooms so we don’t have to keep it nearly as cool b/c the fans make it feel cooler.
I love having my windows open, but my husband hates it. I really just hope I can get him to open a window instead of turn on the AC this year. We really need to save where we can.
