I have been trying to switch to organic cleaners, but I have been making my own. I was excited to give these a try. I was really rather surprised at how effective they were. Seventh Generation´s disinfecting wipes kill 99.99% of germs* naturally using the active ingredient thyme, a component of thyme oil which is derived from the herb thyme. Pretty neat, huh! I like the smell of these as well. With my daughter’s asthma, I definitely like to keep things clean especially during flu season so this will come in handy. I also really like the fact that it doesn’t smell like a cleaner which can affect her breathing.
My favorite item was probably the disinfecting spray. I was just really surprised at how well it worked. I have been using vinegar and baking soda to scrub stains off of my stovetop. However, I sprayed and used a regular cloth to wipe the stove top and it came clean so easily. I was really impressed. I am actually pretty sold on this cleaner now.

My tip for staying healthy is to eat lots of fruits & vegetables, and to wash hands before eating.
Wash hands a lot and use hand sanitizer when touching things out in the public.

I like to take the chance when weather permits this time of year to air the house out with open windows. I don’t think we realize how much ‘pollution’ our houses hold.
