Rite Aid has come up with a new Resolution Rewards program through 1/22/11. Basically, you can buy certain items and you will be entered into a sweepstakes for prizes PLUS you earn $20 in +UP Rewards for each $100 that you spend on specified products. The total spent will be tracked on your Wellness Card so no receipts will have to be submitted for these extra +UP Rewards.
Here is what their press release says about the new Resolution Rewards Program:
Camp Hill, PA (December 28, 2010) – Rite Aid customers who use their wellness+ card from now through January 22 will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a dream vacation, fitness equipment, personal electronics and more as part of a new reward program created by Rite Aid called Resolution Rewards. This is in addition to the savings they get every time they shop with their wellness+ card.
During Resolution Rewards, which runs from now through January 22, each time a wellness+ cardholder uses their wellness+ card, they will be entered for a chance to win one of 775 prizes to help them be healthier and more active in 2011. Prizes include: Polaris All-Terrain mountain bikes; Nintendo Wii game consoles, complete with Wii Fit and a balance board; Life Fitness ellipticals or treadmills; Apple iPod Touch and $50 iTunes gift card packages; Rite Aid gift cards; and the grand prize, a 4-day/3-night trip for two to the Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.
wellness+ customers can also earn a $20 +UP Reward by purchasing $100 or more of specially marked products throughout the store. Thousands of products throughout the store count towards the $20 +UP. Qualifying purchases are automatically tracked through a members’ wellness+ card, so there is no need to submit receipts and enter information online. Once customers surpass $100 in qualifying purchases during the program period, the $20 +UP Reward will automatically print at the bottom of the receipt. The +UP Rewards can be used towards any item during a member’s next purchase; some exclusions apply.
