Why does everyone include the RR in the final price? For those of us just starting we haven’t accumulated any of these yet, so have to pay more……correct?? Example: $2.00 off Noxzema razors. Walgreen’s sale price $3.99 – $2.00 = $1.99 (still decent price) THEN we get the $3.00 RR to use on a future visit (without $2.00 off coupon now).
Am I making any sense here?? LOL I am so new at this I am just beside myself!! :)

    • With Register Rewards you do have to pay for the first item. However, after that, you can separate transactions and use the Register Rewards to pay for your other purchases. You just have to be careful because you can’t pay for an item with a Register Reward from the same company that would issue another Register Reward or it won’t print. So, you can’t pay for a Johnson and Johnson product with a Johnson and Johnson register reward if you want another register reward to print. However, you could pay for a P&G product with a Johnson Register Reward. I explain this better in my Walgreens for beginners post here: http://budgetsavingmom.com/2009/04/19/walgreens-budget-saving-deals-for-beginners-2/

And how does this one work?!

Right Guard Total Defense 5 Body Wash 13.5 oz. BOGO
Buy 2, Use BOGO Right Guard product coupon from the 5/1 RP insert
    Final Cost 2 FREE

I have the coupon, but if it is BOGO how are they both free?

    THANK-YOU SOOOO MUCH!!

    • You are buying 1 body wash, and the store is giving you one free. When you give them the B1G1 coupon, the coupon is paying for the one that you would have paid for to get the other free . . . so you end up with 2 free. The store gives you one free and the company gives you one free using their coupon. Hope that makes sense! Rene
