I am continuing this week’s Invent a Snack Challenge with another one of my kids’ trail mix recipes. This one has really fond memories for us, since it is a special treat that we bring on vacations!
Vacation Trail Mix Recipe:
This one does not have lots of organic ingredients, but we have made it for years as a treat to take on vacation, so I had to include it!
2 cups M&M’s
3 cups salted peanuts (You could buy these organic.)
1 cup chopped graham crackers (There are probably organic graham crackers somewhere.)
1 cup raisins (These could be organic as well.)
1 cup pretzels
Any of you have a great trail mix recipe? Anyone have additional ideas for quick, healthy snacks?
