My friend Kelli, from 3 Boys and a Dog won a chance to work with Grow Map who helps small businesses (and blogs) to grow. She chose 4 other blogs to work with & I was one of them.
So, I have been learning so much over the past couple of weeks from Gail at Grow Map and all of the other bloggers that I am working with!

Renae from How To Have It All who writes about how to coupon, Kroger deals, and easy recipes
Melissa from The Sassy Saver who writes about how to coupon, printable coupons, and coupon organizing
I have tried to learn more about blogging and technical computer stuff over the past several years that I have been blogging, but honestly with organic gardening, homeschooling, and a family there has not been a lot of time. I have learned a few things, but not nearly as much I would love to know.
Enter this group. I can not believe how much I have learned just in the past couple of weeks. Gail has been wonderful teaching us about how to grow our sites. However, on top of that, I have had four other frugal bloggers that I have been able to talk to each day. We have all been able to help each other learn so much. It has turned into a wonderful support group that we can bounce ideas off of as well as learn from. We have talked every day (multiple times), and I have loved it!! I absolutely love blogging, and my biggest frustration in the past has been lack of knowledge and technical know how, so it is wonderful to have this resource, and I am sure that my blog will benefit from it over time. (I do have plenty of homework assignments that I am still working on. LOL!)

You’re the first (I think) to write about our new collaboration besides me. Kelli didn’t actually “win” so much as get selected because of her enthusiasm and advanced blogging knowledge. A new blog collaboration goes much smoother if at least one of the members is already skilled at some of what we’ll be doing.
I want to share with your readers how this post benefits you:
1) When you link to another blogger they can usually see a trackback (automatic notification) in their blog letting them know you linked to them. If they’re social media savvy they will promote your post for you and if they know about the importance of anchor text they may link back to you in a future post on their own blog.
2) You let your readers know what you’re doing beyond your blog so they can read about you other places. You can’t brag about yourself but others may choose to do it for you!
3) The details in your post let your readers know what else you focus on and what topics are important to you. They may have only read a few of your posts and not realize that you have much more that interests them.
I’ll be publishing another post about our couponing case study tomorrow. In the meantime I’m off to send visitors to this post from StumbleUpon, Twitter, Facebook and FriendFeed.
