So, last week was our first official week using Tapestry of Grace Year one. It went great!! I love the curriculum so far. My kids had a blast this week doing it!! I love it when school can be fun while at the same time challenging and educational.
They learned so much!
My eldest daughter and I had a three hour class on Wednesday afternoon about what she had learned and Christian Worldview. It was an amazing discussion. I love one on one classes with her!
I think that this curriculum is a perfect fit for our family, and I can’t wait until next week!

I am having the kids work together on one craft a week. So, this KB, Lyn and Boo chose to make a model Egyptian garden this week. They had so much fun making it together!! (That is why some of the trees look like a 13 year old did them, and others look like a 4 year did them. My 2 year old had fun painting all of the flowers in the grass and just painting on papers beside them while they worked.
We used the instructions for the model Egyptian garden from this book, Ancient Egyptians and Their Neighbors.
