I was playing around in the kitchen tonight, and really wanted something sweet . . . something with peanut butter and chocolate. So, I came up for this recipe for peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. They were SO good!! I hope that you enjoy them as much as my family did!
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 stick butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 cups chocolate chips
Beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg and vanilla in mixer. Combine flour and baking soda in a separate bowl. Slowly add flour mixture to the mixer. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped peanuts. I use a small melon baller to scoop out the dough onto the cookie sheets, then I press the dough down with the bottom of a cup. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
Then, enjoy! They will disappear quickly though! My family loved these peanut butter chocolate chip cookies!

I just whipped up a batch of these and the batter tastes good – now I just have to wait 8-10 minutes for them to bake in the oven. You never mentioned when to put in the egg, so I assume it’s before the flour/baking soda, was I right?? I hope so!
Thanks for sharing!
Ooops . . . yes you were right! Hope that you enjoyed them! I will add that. (-:
These sound yummy. I love the peanut butter/chocolate flavour combination. I’d like to give them a go and I have a set of ‘American cup’ measures, but please, what quantity is 1 stick butter? It’s fairly important to get it right so I don’t want to just guess! I saw you on Inspire me Fradays. Kate x
