Here is my menu plan for the week. I have found that having a menu plan helps me make sure that my family is able to eat at home for most of their meals. By waiting until Sunday night to come up with the menu plan, I also have a good idea of what produce is fresh in my organic garden for the week, and what perishable food I need to make sure that I eat up this week.
So, here is my menu plan for the week:
Monday: Mediterranean Chicken Quinoa (This is to use up some of my tomatoes, green beans and herbs from the garden.)
Tuesday: Kid’s night at Chick-fil-A
Friday: Homemade pizza with homemade pizza sauce
Saturday: Turkey Chili Verde
Sunday: French dip sandwich and fruit
We also have a few peanut butter chocolate chip cookies leftover for special treats this week!
