Every year our family makes gingerbread houses. It was a tradition that my mother started when I was a kid, and I have continued with my children. Making gingerbread houses is one of our favorite things to do as a family each year! This year I was really excited that BJ’s contacted me and offered to send me a gingerbread house kit to review as well as a $25 BJ’s gift card so that one of my reader’s could buy a gingerbread house as well!!  You can enter to win the giftcard at the bottom of this post!

My family loved making the gingerbread house!! The gingerbread house came with ready made frosting, the decorations, pieces for Santa’s sleigh, 2 reindeer and even a candy Santa!

It was so much fun to decorate. My two and four year old decorated it with my husband and I. They had a blast!! My four year old carefully put candy onto every bit of frosting that she could find while my 2 year old tried to put pieces of candy on in between bites of candy. (-:

I really enjoy scrapbooking! However, I do not have much time anymore for scrapbooking as much as I wish I did.
