Yesterday, my kids and I had so much fun playing around the house, and it was budget saving fun, because we didn’t spend a penny. I thought I would share some of the fun things we did yesterday and maybe you can use some with your kids if they get bored and the weather isn’t the best outside.
1. We made a maze with chairs and blankets.
2. We then turned the maze into an obstacle course.
3. We used the blankets as “magic quilts” as my 2 year old called it. She sat cross legged on the blanket and I pulled her around the house.
4. Play with a flashlight. She found one this morning as I was trying to finish up the Food Lion deals. She could not stop laughing, she was having so much fun. I had forgotten how much fun kids can have with items around the house. She was so cute!!
5. “Paint” with pudding (that I had gotten for free) at the table. This paint can also be eaten. Yummy!
