Coupon Notebook

I previously posted pictures and an explanation about my coupon notebook. I have since come up with a couple more ideas that seem to be working even better for me. To see my original post click here.

Now, I have a trapper keeper instead of a 3 ring binder. I love this because I can zip it up, and it has a handle. This is so helpful with 3 kids in tow! Also, I am able to keep my scissors in there. At the front is an accordian style plastic storage area where I have put all of my store policies for any crabby cashiers I may encounter along the way. At the front is an area that zips up and I put in my envelopes with the coupons that I have pulled for particular stores. I LOVE ORGANIZATION!

I actually divided up my coupons into 2 notebooks now. One for food items and the other for non food items. I may go back to one at some point, but for now, I love my notebooks being light and easier to juggle with kids. This is not as practical as my one huge notebook, but in the store, it sure has made my life easier.

Also, one more tip – - – Make sure you put your name and contact info in your notebook. These notebooks do take some time to put together and we all know that coupons are like money so you definitely want to get it back if you lose it.

Free Magazine

As I have posted before, I get lots of free magazines. Which is a great way to save money on your budget. The only magazine we pay for is Readers Digest (a present from my hubby before I knew about free magazines.) Basically, there are companies who want you to take a survey and then they give you a free magazine subscription for taking it. A company that does this should say that it is completely free and never ask for a credit card number. Click here for more freebie tips. Here is a link to get 12 free issues of Horse Illustrated. I currently am getting Shape, Woman’s Day, Martha Stewart Living, Organic Gardening, Prevention, a couple of gardening magazines, fitness magazines etc. Honestly, I get so many I have trouble remembering. These extra magazines often have coupons which is an added bonus. Once you are finished glancing through them, some people sell them or you can always donate them to the hospital. I know that I have been very thankful for magazines when I was sitting in the hospital with a sick loved one. Enjoy some free budget saving magazines!

Nature Made Sample

Walmart has another great budget saving freebie. Get a free sample of Nature Made Triple Flex here. If you are new to freebies, make sure to check out my budget saving post here.

Walmart Budget Saving List Updated

I went to Walmart again today and updated the list again with some more budget saving deals. Not all of these deals are as good of a deal as you could get if you waited for a sale. However, I know that I have lots of readers who may not have time to go to all of the stores, or might not have access to all of the stores that I do, so I have a HUGE budget saving list for Walmart. Click here to check out the updated list. Enjoy some budget saving deals!
