Free Homeschool Resource

apple book

Here is a great budget saving freebie that I have been using for close to a year now. I absolutely love this site and have gotten so many great freebies from them. Homeschool Freebie of the Day is a great website that has a new freebie Monday through Friday that you can download. These are usually only available for one day, so you do have to download them that day. Here is what was available this week to give you an idea of their free offers. (You will not be able to get the ones for Monday or Tuesday since they only offer them for one day, but you can start with today’s.) They send out an e-mail every Monday with what freebies will be offered that week, so you can make sure to download the ones that you are interested in.

Lots of great illustrations too.

Free Contacts

I have been wearing my glasses more frequently because my contacts have been bothering my eyes recently. I am thinking that I need to try some new ones. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can get free contacts to try. I am quite excited about this because I like to buy several at the same time to save money, but I want to make sure that they will work first.

Get a free pair of Acuvue Oasys contacts here.

Get a free sample of Acuvue Colors here (This just sounds like fun, I wonder if my hubby would notice that my eyes were green instead of blue when he came home?)

Get a free sample of Acuvue astygmatism here

Enjoy some free contacts!

Harris Teeter Trip

038

Here is my budget saving success story at Harris Teeter this morning. I hope you can read the receipt. I have had several people ask to see it to help them learn how I coupon. I can’t really figure out how to make it big enough for you to see the whole receipt. I paid $5.18. My coupons tendered were $71.06 and my VIC savings were $18. So before coupons and VIC savings my total would have been $94.24 . . . after coupons and VIC savings $5.18. YEAH! I LOVE triples!

I bought 3 Hefty Grip cups, 4 chex mix, 2 Snickers bars, 3 Uncle Ben’s rices, 3 Yo Crunch yogurts, Stoneyfield Yo Baby yogurt multipack, 3 Heluva Good Dip, 3 GUM toothbrushes, 2 Minute Rices, 3 packs of Solo cups, & 3 Grande tortilla chips.

I used triple coupons plus some freebie coupons I had gotten in the mail.  I was going to take pics, but my daughter was quite helpful and put up the groceries for me. It was quite a nice surprise since that is not my favorite part of shopping!

How did you guys do? I hope you were able to snag lots of great deals!!
