CVS’s Today

Here were my buys at 2 CVS’s today. See my post about my trips here. It was an interesting day, but I still did find some great buys for my upcoming trip to Disney World. I figure mints and gum and work well for cranky children in the van.

I got the altoids for $.75 each – total of $4.50 (A lot, but I really like the kind covered in chocolate and some splurges are worth it.)
Tic Tacs – $.25 each – total $1 for 4
Breath Mints $.23 each – total $1.15 for 5
Orbit Gum – $.32 each – total of $.96 for 3
Aloe Vera sunblock lip balm – $.50
12 Soy Joy Bars – $12 minus $2 in coupons for $10 total
deodorant – $.24

I actually had enough extra care bucks left over from last week to where I paid $6 out of pocket, but got back $13 extra care bucks. So now I have $13 in extra care bucks to spend next week. Not to bad for a crazy day of shopping. But hopefully I will get back to CVS again this week to get the rest of the budget saving deals.

$2.99Jumbo pack of Pampers at CVS

Another Update: I went to CVS and they did honor the deal. The manager actually gave me $15 cash back instead of the extra care bucks. He said CVS had made a mistake with that ad, so we will see if they issue a retraction, but he did say he knew it was there and so they did have to honor it for now.

Update: Looks like they took the $5 extra care bucks off of the website. If you already printed it, I would bring it and they should still honor it. One of my readers said they would only honor it for one pack though. If they won’t honor it for more than 1, I would only get one pack and return the other 2. Other readers have been able to get 3 packs with the $5 extra care bucks on each even without the ad.

June 7-June 13th CVS jumbo packs of pampers will be on sale for $8.99. When you buy a pack you will get $5 extra care bucks, combine this with a $1 coupon from the Sunday paper and the pack is only $2.99!! Click here for the ad. The ad does not list the limit you can buy, but the weekly circular lists that you can buy 3 for $8.99. Since this ad is online, I would print out this ad and bring it with you when you go for proof because it is not in the circular. The ad is from CVS and does say it is only valid in stores.

$2.37 Diapers at CVS

I went to CVS this morning and CVS diapers and pull-ups were $2.37 on clearance. Also, Pampers were on clearance for $2.87. I got 15 packs of diapers and pullups, 2 cans of soup and lotion for $31 dollars and some change. YEAH!!

I will post pictures later. Right now I am at my family’s house for lunch, but I was so excited and wanted to post.
